 First of all, i want to apologize if my photos have been of bad quality as of late. One of the things i hate about having to keep up with this blog is to produce good quality photos, i mean who doesnt want that right? But unfortunately, i am a commuter and i dont want to always carry a huge DSLR in my bag just for the sake of taking outfit shots, i mean i have to #getreal right? Its not like im gaining profit from this anyway, this is just for fun and for my writing needs! :)

I am actually back to using my #Samsung digital camera and having a hard time adjusting to it again. but no worries because i am having lots of fun with my #SmartiPhone5c which produces good quality of photos.

Wore this outfit on my usual Sunday grind, attending mass. I kinda owe God a lot in all aspects in my life. So before i go personal here let me just tell you how much i paid for my skirt. 175 pesos. I know right? Its very cheap. And very chic! And perfect for the real world. A.k.a looking for jobs or maybe even getting one soon! It all depends. All i know is that its a very good investment. :)

Its Friday!! And finally things have gotten a little lighter right now, just a little. Im still thankful im able to squeeze some time for this. Looks different right? Well honestly, i am fond of headpieces, headwears and the likes. But i am not a fan of baseball caps, theyre soo masculine. I always like me with a touch of femininity. But i am not closing my doors on changes, change is good, always good right? Sooo finally, after 4 years, i have finally used this cap from Terranova on my way to SM Lanang in Davao. I had this for such a loong time andd even if it still has a touch of my girly girl side, i just can't find it in my heart to use it. 

This trip was such a great oppurtunity for me to experiment things because im not from there and nobody really knows me there if i had an outfit fail! HAHA but really? is there such thing as that? Fashion is all about expressing yourself through your clothes. Its art. And each piece of art is always unique, just like each of our own styles are unique yes?

Here in Cebu, we have two SM Malls, and one currently under construction, so that makes it 3. But the two operational malls doesnt have SkyGarden. Its like Terraces-ish. Gardens and Fountains and establishments everywhere. You get the picture. Its all about the ambiance. #Touristy right? HAHA

So, for my outfit, i wore my pin stripes polo from SM GTW and a denim shorts. Theyre just basic pieces thrown into one and et voila! 

We took this shot just before the sun sets, honestly, ive been to Davao twice but there's something about the sunset thats so clear from there. You could really call it the golden hour.

Learning Process

 If there's one thing i learned about fashion in my internship, it is "ITS OKAY TO REPEAT OUTFITS and CLOTHES" Since my internship doesnt really requires us to wear uniforms, i get to experiment business casual outfits going to the office and along the way i realized that creating my outfit of the day is fun, especially when i repeat pieces ive already worn before. It makes me happy to see that my money isnt going to be a "one time use" only. 

 

For this day, i chose to use my cropped peplum top from SM GTW, which i got for 200 peso only. It was on sale. And my white WAGW skirt. The thing is, i tend to pair my old pieces to new ones. It's so fun to mix and match. My internship also, made me realize, i have a lot of clothes to choose from. But still it doesn't stop me from acquiring new ones. Especially clothes that i lack, and need. Like color, or style.

Since i started working/intern(ing) hahaha for Cathay Pacific my schedule was waaaaay overbooked! And for this id like to qoute Roz Bailey "For a girl in her twenties, im waaay overbooked" I feel the same way, since then, i have been very busy to the point that my room is such a mess, there are clothes and bags everywhere! And i have no time to clean my clutter. Sadly, i dont even have time to update my daily planner. Im always home late or sooo tired that all i do is crash in bed. Sighs. So on weekends i make it to a point to de-stress. Either i go out to party or just chill, but take note i still have to render 3 hours of duties on weekends. Not until recently, since our tie up with Marco Polo just ended. It felt liberating actually. I spent my first free weekend at home, cleaning my room and organizing and catching up lots of sleep! For today's post, this outfit was worn in one of the many Sunday's i de-stress from work. 

 Just a simple TOP and Shorts and flats combo. Finally got the chance to wear this peplum top with a lower V back paired with my knitted shorts that my bestfriend got me a year ago. And to cap it all off, my always and reliable Vince Camuto Flats :)

Too Early

Just a quick post before i throw myself into the pit of my nightmares *psssh* and lose myself in my dreams and pause life for awhile. Im just dead tired from all the yoga i did today. I swear i never sweat this much! It was fun though, been doing it for quite some time now. But anyway, back to my outfit!

Wore this outfit on a coffee date  with a friend. Sometimes when i dress up, if my mood is a whack i think of what i havent worn YET with the person im going to meet. For example, i think about what i wore when i first met someone, and what i havent wore. HAHA i know, sounds crazy but hey, we all have our own ideas. Yes? So for this case, since i was wearing a skort when i met the person im about to meet when i wore this, (am i making sense? hahah) i decided to wear a shorts! i also wanted to feel formal yet casual, that explains the blazer.

Do you sometimes wish, in the middle of it all, whether its work related, school related, or personal stuffs you could just run away and get away from everything because its eating you up and you just need to breathe. This is exactly what i was feeling, a month ago when finals has finally taken its toll, take note im on my senior year so it was really tough. Though my priorities remain the same, thats why instead of packing my bags and go somewhere south or north, i hit the nearest beach i could find. And even just for a day, i could breathe. 

Since i live in Cebu, the beach are just 30 minutes away. Though if youre up for paradise and adventure, it doesnt hurt to travel 4-5 hours to get there. But since it was finals week, i just had to take what i can get. And that is Mactan Island. Dont get me wrong though, Mactan Island offers a lot, its the home of the luxurious resorts here in Cebu, i just love to escape somewhere the provincial life has to offer. Plain and Simple yet beautiful in ways you can never understand.

Due to the current stress in my life, i did not need the gym haha im so thin now. Anyway, this short getaway allowed me to finally wear my peplum top from GTW which is my favorite actually. Feels like summer already yes? And my new favorite flats that goes with almost anything.
