Can you feel my love affair with crop tops? It has really evolved this summer. I dont know why. 

Wore this ensemble to lunch with a friend and to pick up my USB full of series episodes. Which my friend kindly downloaded for me! If youre reading this Franc, thanks again! I still owe you! 

Aside from the evolution of my cropped top collection. My shopping skills has also taken me to another level. And thats being wiser. I can now leave clothes i really really like, so i can think about them and so i wont have dead clothes in my closet anymore. This cropped top was one of those, there were only two left and  f21 was going to close for the Holy Week so i had a lot of time to think if i should be getting it. And if its for me. It will still be there when i get back. Thats one of my shopping mantras. 

And lo and behold. Its really mine for the taking! Im not saying im super wiser. Im still weak when it comes to shopping but this is a milestone!

I have always wanted to buy a "Jeggings" but i kind of had a hard time looking for one. Because everything i fit would show camel-toes! Hahaha

Jeans+Leggings are a very comfortable alternative for denim jeans. So it is essential to have one in your closet.  

Picking one is very tricky. But thankfully and surprisingly, this pastel pants (jeggings) from Lets Stylize fits perfectly. No camel toes.

Too Much Revenge

 Do you ever had those times that you get inspired with whatever youre currently addicted to? Like for example a series? and its protagonist? Well in my case, i am currently obsessed with Revenge's Emily Thorne. I love love love her business casual outfits. Theyre all so classy and chic. And as of this writing i am actually wearing another Emily Thorne inspired outfit. Haha.

 Can you believe that i got this pants at Forever21 for 300 plus only? I have never regretted buying this. And can you see how versatile this top is? Youve seen me wearing this with shorts for a casual and laid back look and now im presenting you a smart casual look!

 I dont know really, if its Revenge or the fact that im done with college. My outfit choices have suddenly become different. I buy more classics nowadays.

When in Ormoc. There is one go to resort  there that's really really nice. Sabin Redort Hotel. And my Ormoc trip wouldnt be complete without visiting. 

Wore my F21 rompers in going there. And paired with my WAGW xback top. Which i used as a vest.

Ormoc Sea Wall

I have been going to Ormoc ever since i was a kid because i have cousins over there and we are pretty tight.

The last time i went to Ormoc was in the year 2010 and after Yolanda hit Ormoc this was the first time i stepped into this beloved town. The remnants of Yolanda is very visible. Again i wish i brought my camera with me to share with you my experience but sadly i was clouded by my new iPhone hahaha i almost abandoned this blog. Sighs. 

So on to my outfit, i wore this on my first day exploring ormoc again. This time with open eyes, mind and heart. Ever since ive gone deeper with the degree i finished which is Tourism i have become curious with the world. I craved for adventures and seeking out, exploring places. 

This part of Ormoc is called the Sea Wall, its near the plaza and the pier. Actually everything there is so near. Which is perfect if you wanna get away for awhile. A break from the city life. My sister travelled with me and we really waited for sunset here which was always glorious!

 I have always had a thing for florals, maxis and slits. And they are all rolled into one in this maxi skirt i am

wearing. 

Honestly, i have been looking for a maxi that has double slits. Like slits in each side. Because some of the skirts i own only has one. So imagine my delight when i saw this? And when i actually wore it, it feels perfect. Like i found love in this maxi. No bull here. I love the skirt. 

 Maxi skirts calls for lazy days when all you wanna do is chill. Of course i wanna chill in style. Haha i prepared this outfit on my last day for HyperCebu . But unfortunately i wasnt able to attend due to my monthly visit. A.K.A red lady. Which drained the energy out of me. Ugh. 

 Its a must to be comfortable while i man my booth and sell my stuffs since its Sunday. Sundays for me means the last day to be lazy. So there you go.

Classic V-neck white shirts and tweed shorts and im off to the waters. That explains my flip flops. 

A simple shirt can look very chic if you match it with the right accessory. Forget the bottoms, this shirt matches all kinds! But the key to make a plain white shirt work is to accessorize. Never under estimate the power of accessories. 

In this case, i was all out simple. Imagine if i had no sunnies on. Would it make a difference? Yes. A huge one.

Wore this outfit to church. I am not a legging person but i have to admit ive been using them often this summer as a comfortable alternative to pants. I kind of developed a great love for pants alongg my fashion journeys in life haha

And of course it went perfectly well with a cinched boyfriend polo. There you go.

Love Affair

 I hated cropped tops! I have insecurities when it comes to my tummy. I think we all have them. But along the way i have learned to be comfortable with my body. I have shoved off my insecurities and embraced myself.

 So just this summer i started to collect different kinds of cropped tops! Cropped tops screams summer anyway.

The best thing about cropped tops are: they're very chic and stylish. And they go with some of the things i have in my closet like: high waisted skirts and shorts. Or high waisted pants. But if you are confident enough and brave enough to go mid-waist + cropped top combo then bravo to ya! 

Don't get me wrong though, i am not THAAAT confident to pull this outfit off. Im just heading to the waters thats why i was comfortable showing some skin. Haha.

Wore this outfit to meet up a friend from MNL last March. How time flies fast. I havent even graduated in this photo haha and now its almost 2 months since i graduated. 

Anyway, i wore this maroon top because i  think it looks decent and chic at the same time. Dont you agree? If youve been following me on Instagram then you'd know i got this in two colors. And i regretted of not buying the black and white which is the most classic of all colors. Lately ive been buying pieces that i can definitely reuse. Basic pieces. And if theyre cheap i get them in every color. 

So since i am meeting up a friend. I opted to pair it with my gold highwaisted quilted shorts. And im ready for a Friday night. The thing with this top is, its very versatile. You can also wear this with a blazer and pants for a formal look. Or a skirt for a sexy/preppy look (depends on the type of skirt really) or this, shorts for a more casual and laidback look!
