Sneaker Number 4: Adidas Stan Smith Floral Limited Edition

So, I altered a dress. This dress is actually plain without those pearls (yes I sew them myself and yes I know how to duh haha). Also, this dress has a really long sleeves. Its thick cotton and I just couldnt bear wearing it because its too hot in this tropical country. Not to mention its high neck.

Since I didnt want to let this dress go just yet. I took a risk, cut off the sleeves into the length of my preference and voila! I can now see myself wearing this often. So I took this out for a spin and totally love the revamped look. Along with this dress, I also tested out my fourth sneakers, the floral Stan smiths.  I am so so so in love with this sneakers! Its a good thing that my Tita is from London and I was able to ask a favor from her to get me this as this was apparently limited edition!

This is my first look with the shoes and I plan to pair this with jeans, midi skirts, and shorts to see how versatile these sneakers can go.

What do you think?

Holiday Colors

Holla everyone! I hope you all had a very feastful holidays! haha This is my first attempt to do night shots so please bear with me! Though i am pretty happy with the outcome compared to my other night shots that i never posted. One of the big problems blogging is posting good photos and you know that its always better with the natural light as your lighting. I wore this outfit to one of the Christmas Parties me and my family attended.

So to dress for such occasions, i pulled out all my colorful outfits to create a very happy and festive look. Thus, the mint top from Forever21 that i got on their Buy 1 Take 1 sale earlier this December. Paired with my WAGW skirt, bought for office purposes when i was stocking up some skirts for my Internship.

Finished off my outfit with my white sling backs from SM Parisian for a corporate vibe since it was a company party i was attending and used my lace clutch from WWW.

Wrap Around

Ho Ho Ho! Happy Holidays everyone! I hope everyone is feeling festive already! Its the most wonderful time of the year as the saying goes. Christmas is one of my favorite seasons of all times. Its the time of joy and sharing. But then again, we must share everytime we can you know. When December kicked in i must say, i did not feel the Christmas Spirit at all. Even if i was tasked to do some wrapping in the office i never felt Christmas. This time of last year i was all over the malls and felt christmas earlier than usual! But the season never fails to make me feel all festive and jolly. Well better late than never right? Just recently, exactly 3 days ago, i had my Christmas shopping done already and what's worst it is beginning to dig a hole in my pocket! Haha Anyway, on to my post! Wrap arounds, i love wrap arounds. From skirts to dressses and now tops!

I got this wrap around top on sale (of course) from WAGW, it's actually out of my comfort zone since its screaming orange. But what the hey right?

Wore this outfit to a go-see @ Marco Polo for an event with AD Models under the supervision of Dexter Alazas. I have been lovin the top and pants combo as of late. They just make me feel sexy but not provocative in a way. Agree?

Serenity

Since i started working/intern(ing) hahaha for Cathay Pacific my schedule was waaaaay overbooked! And for this id like to qoute Roz Bailey "For a girl in her twenties, im waaay overbooked" I feel the same way, since then, i have been very busy to the point that my room is such a mess, there are clothes and bags everywhere! And i have no time to clean my clutter. Sadly, i dont even have time to update my daily planner. Im always home late or sooo tired that all i do is crash in bed. Sighs. So on weekends i make it to a point to de-stress. Either i go out to party or just chill, but take note i still have to render 3 hours of duties on weekends. Not until recently, since our tie up with Marco Polo just ended. It felt liberating actually. I spent my first free weekend at home, cleaning my room and organizing and catching up lots of sleep! For today's post, this outfit was worn in one of the many Sunday's i de-stress from work.

Just a simple TOP and Shorts and flats combo. Finally got the chance to wear this peplum top with a lower V back paired with my knitted shorts that my bestfriend got me a year ago. And to cap it all off, my always and reliable Vince Camuto Flats :)

Thanks for taking my Photos Stephy! <3

Shine

Most of you know that i am currently on my internship with Cathay Pacific and luckily, the dresscode there is not much strict than you would think. Business Casual does the trick. So for this post, i present to you one my internship outfit. One of the many.

For this day, we had a tie up with Marco Polo Cebu which needs me to be there along with my other interns, thats why i chose to dress up a little bit. As you can see, this midi skirt that im wearing, is lying in my closet for quite a time now until.... well.... recently. One of the things i love about this skirt is that it glimmers, its pretty simple though. But i think it spells C-L-A-S-S. yes?

Luckily, i had an old top with the same cloth as my skirt and went perfectly well. So i just had to pick the right shoes and im good. What do you think?

Too Early

Just a quick post before i throw myself into the pit of my nightmares *psssh* and lose myself in my dreams and pause life for awhile. Im just dead tired from all the yoga i did today. I swear i never sweat this much! It was fun though, been doing it for quite some time now. But anyway, back to my outfit!

Wore this outfit on a coffee date  with a friend. Sometimes when i dress up, if my mood is a whack i think of what i havent worn YET with the person im going to meet. For example, i think about what i wore when i first met someone, and what i havent wore. HAHA i know, sounds crazy but hey, we all have our own ideas. Yes? So for this case, since i was wearing a skort when i met the person im about to meet when i wore this, (am i making sense? hahah) i decided to wear a shorts! i also wanted to feel formal yet casual, that explains the blazer.

Clean Slate

Its been a week or so since the super typhoon Yolanda wrecked havoc in our country, particularly in my region and the aftermath has been very devastating and the world knows. On the brighter side of everything, we have also witnessed how the world responded and helped each other, just forget the part where the Philippine government was questioned if this help would go to the people who are in dire need of it. But of course we all hope it will.

We can always start over, and that's what my title is all about. Everyone of us has its own typhoons in life. Not literally though. As for me, i'd like to start with a clean slate. I am in a new chapter in my life where i could confidently say i am wiser and stronger than i was before and that i have never been more proud of myself.

On to my outfit, i wore this little white dress at a christening of my friends child. Which also inspired me to use the title clean slate. I have been lovin white dresses recently as much as i love little black dresses now. But before that though, we hoarded sweets from Dolce.

Christening, Birthdays, are a great transitions in life. Its like going into a new chapter, a different page of your journey, and its always good to always start over. And we are given that chance everyday when our eyes starts to open. As for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, i think that they are strong enough to survive the strongest storm ever and i think they would also surpass the things that they are going through and strong enough to start over again. And since we are talking about christening, i have also read from magazines about babies being born in the middle of the storm. Now thats one hell of a survivor.

I wont say my life's a total bliss now but i would like to say that i am perfectly happy right now, truly happy. And there are still more lessons that i have learned and yet to learn but all i can say is when life kicks you in the ass, try and learn to accept it and happiness will follow.

I'd like to special mention and feature my friend Stephy who took these gorgeous photos of me! Thanks babe!

I can do this. You can do this. We can do this.
