Summer meant more catching up with friends since i was pretty busy with senior year. 

Catched up with this two guys whom i havent seen or at least hang out in a while now over milktea and...

Wine at La Vie. Its my first time there. Ive heard about La Vie though when people wasnt swarming there just yet. Thats why ive decided to let the swarming pass but then they dragged me there and i kinda owe then time so what the hey! And i had a great night. Well spent. Because....

Do you sometimes wish, in the middle of it all, whether its work related, school related, or personal stuffs you could just run away and get away from everything because its eating you up and you just need to breathe. This is exactly what i was feeling, a month ago when finals has finally taken its toll, take note im on my senior year so it was really tough. Though my priorities remain the same, thats why instead of packing my bags and go somewhere south or north, i hit the nearest beach i could find. And even just for a day, i could breathe. 

Since i live in Cebu, the beach are just 30 minutes away. Though if youre up for paradise and adventure, it doesnt hurt to travel 4-5 hours to get there. But since it was finals week, i just had to take what i can get. And that is Mactan Island. Dont get me wrong though, Mactan Island offers a lot, its the home of the luxurious resorts here in Cebu, i just love to escape somewhere the provincial life has to offer. Plain and Simple yet beautiful in ways you can never understand.

Due to the current stress in my life, i did not need the gym haha im so thin now. Anyway, this short getaway allowed me to finally wear my peplum top from GTW which is my favorite actually. Feels like summer already yes? And my new favorite flats that goes with almost anything.

Ive been accessorizing more now, must be the summer vibe.

 Though sunnies calls for my no make up look. I opted to wear something minimal but ended up with something embellished anyway haha maybe because my black tank top screamed so much attention on broad daylight. We dont want that do we now? Hence the embellished crop top, it actually worked! It complimented my polka dot skirt very well.

Starting to wear heels more often too. Just to exercise my legs. I seem to have muscle pains if i wear them too long which i dont normally get before.

Cape-able

 Ive always wanted to wear this caped cardigan i got last sinulog as a half gift (haha) from Carlo. I have been eyeing this piece since they let the mannequins wore this. And luckily, i got it, the last piece, though not my size. But then as the saying goes, if the shoe fits. haha in this case, if the cape fits!

 Finally, i got this out and see the sun, too much sun actually. Haha my pictures are wayyy too bright. I know! haha Wore this to a date with Carlo. He is always happy when i use his gifts. Which is very often since he gives me something that i can really use. The necessities :)

 Since it was a movie date, this cape was perfect to keep me warm inside the cinema or i would freeze in my Romwe corset sans the cape. opted for some highwaist shorts, because they instantly covers your tummy (the loose ones) and they give you curves. Plus they look really chic.

Sunday Stripes

 I finally got to wear this Mullet Skirt from Romwe in wine red last Sunday after having this in my closet for almost a year now since it arrived from the mail. Can you believe me? haha Though i think it's a great start for love month dont you think? I packed this skirt with me going to my mom's place up north this weekend for a Sunday outfit, along with a corset and a cropped cover up. But the next day my sister and i, raided our mom's closet and i stumbled upon this top which i figured she wont be wearing anymore because it fits me haha so i opted for this instead which was a good choice, compared with the corset, since it was a chilly and rainy afternoon.

 My trusted pointees! I love them to death. They dont hurt at all and the low heels are such a savior from slipping and still looking great without sacrificing your legs and feet.

Wore this pretty ensemble on a Saturdate with my partner of course, sadly, the photos are a blur because I am back to my Samsung Cam and the sun did not shine when we took these photos! Haha As the title goes There's a time for everything :)

So you better watch out some repeats on these outfits for a much clearer picture. All clothes are worn for the first time. Remember the fashion show i last participated? I got the Denim Vest from them.

The midrib is from F21 c/o Carlo, but its out in the malls too, specially in the Philippines.

And the skirt? Can you believe that i got this for 180 Pesos only? SUPER STEAL right?

Feels like Summer

Who could ever get enough of summer? But then maybe Summer is only meant for 2 months, imagine bumming around the beach forever. Since me and my boyfriend missed out spending Summer together we did what we could just to feel Summer despite the windy and rainy weather we have here right now. Just today, we went to a clubhouse at a subdivision, its close to the city and swam away. Except me haha i just felt like laying on my bikini and feel the air.

Since Carlo laid interest on Macro shots and since the place is just filled with little flowers, i thought id show him the stuffs i learned from being friends with lots of good photographers.

 I love this piece. I got it for 20 pesos @ Broadway Gems, its one of those earrings i lay around on the table and the one i can grab when im in a huryy. I feel naked without earrings haha

 Since it was swimming day, i opted for a no make up look, hence the sunnies i borrowed from Carlo, to keep my eyes off cam. Theyre so dark and pale. Haha Im normally like this anyways. I just put on some red lipstick. always a TO GO make up.
