Wore this outfit to meet up a friend from MNL last March. How time flies fast. I havent even graduated in this photo haha and now its almost 2 months since i graduated. 

Anyway, i wore this maroon top because i  think it looks decent and chic at the same time. Dont you agree? If youve been following me on Instagram then you'd know i got this in two colors. And i regretted of not buying the black and white which is the most classic of all colors. Lately ive been buying pieces that i can definitely reuse. Basic pieces. And if theyre cheap i get them in every color. 

So since i am meeting up a friend. I opted to pair it with my gold highwaisted quilted shorts. And im ready for a Friday night. The thing with this top is, its very versatile. You can also wear this with a blazer and pants for a formal look. Or a skirt for a sexy/preppy look (depends on the type of skirt really) or this, shorts for a more casual and laidback look!

Since i started working/intern(ing) hahaha for Cathay Pacific my schedule was waaaaay overbooked! And for this id like to qoute Roz Bailey "For a girl in her twenties, im waaay overbooked" I feel the same way, since then, i have been very busy to the point that my room is such a mess, there are clothes and bags everywhere! And i have no time to clean my clutter. Sadly, i dont even have time to update my daily planner. Im always home late or sooo tired that all i do is crash in bed. Sighs. So on weekends i make it to a point to de-stress. Either i go out to party or just chill, but take note i still have to render 3 hours of duties on weekends. Not until recently, since our tie up with Marco Polo just ended. It felt liberating actually. I spent my first free weekend at home, cleaning my room and organizing and catching up lots of sleep! For today's post, this outfit was worn in one of the many Sunday's i de-stress from work. 

 Just a simple TOP and Shorts and flats combo. Finally got the chance to wear this peplum top with a lower V back paired with my knitted shorts that my bestfriend got me a year ago. And to cap it all off, my always and reliable Vince Camuto Flats :)

Cut it out

 As ive said. August is such a joy to me. Birthdays are always a blessing. Aside from getting a year older. Its a new chance , a new start for another year of journey with one's self. Plus cash are always an added bonus. Which leads us to todays post. What i wore to my birthday shopping spree which fell on SM's 3 day sale. Like always.

 When shopping. Always always wear comfortable flats that you can easily take off, because youre gonna fit shoes and it would be easy. So i was wrong with my choice. I shouldve worn some sling backs or sling on flats. But the comfort that this vince camuto flats gave me was, well very comforting haha

Second, a comfy shorts or a skirt. In my case, this highly irregular skirt was waiting for its turn to be used. So i had to take them out. 

3rd. Wear a top you can easily get off. Button downs are a no-no. Its so much hassle when you fit something yes?

Youve seen my hauls for this shopping trip. I do hope you agree with my rules. Haha

 Have you ever started out on a great day, the sun is shining and felt luck was on your side? But then it turned out to be NOT REALLY! Haha One wednesday when i thought i had lady luck by my side, the sun was shining, i caught the bus on the way to school. And thought this is a great day until i realized that i left the camera at home, and some. And the traffic went slow which caused me a grand entrance again in my class.

So much for lady luck! Thanks to modern technology, my iPod is always with me and well, i have an app which is called Camera 360 that has different kinds of settings. And we took the opportunity to explore so sorry if my photo's not really as good as it is hahaha whatever

 Wednesdays calls for corporate attire and i hate wearing our corporate uniform and since i dont have major subjects, i am not really obliged to wear but i love dressing up and well here's to dress the part!

 Took these blazer for a spin, i have this for a year now and i havent been really using them that much!

To mute down the loud color of my blazer, i opted for a pastel pink tank. So this is where stocking up tank tops is a must.

 And pants can be boring, but printed ones are never boring. It gives me a boost, makes me more inspired to go to school having to express myself in what i wear.

 Seriously wished we stick to this mode. Its much clearer haha

 And matched my belt and sandals!

Sorry if im boring you out on these bustier dresses. Haha, but hey, its another scratch on the list. The list just keeps getting longer you know haha anyway, i wore this cute pink floral bustier dress on a fun filled shopping day with my sister and cousin. When i say shopping i meant for school this time, school shoes and supplies, but of course there will always be a little side buys, considering that its a 3 day sale. We rummaged SM for this day because when it comes to shopping i think that SM offers a lot to choose from, the only thing i hate about SM though is the choices of place to eat, thats where Ayala tops my list when it comes on where to dine. Anyway if you could just see i tamed my hair, which i sort of regreted but not really. Id like it if you leave me some comments on which hair looks better on me.:)

Thats Mark my cousin and my sister, Mark who miraculously went shopping too @ Mental. The one with the weird store but they also have weird selections of clothes which i absolutely love but not the price, for the style and design i just dont think it would cost that much, or for me its not worth it. But anyhoo, we checked out Radisson Blu for "dessert" after our lunch, hence this garden-ish photos, but literally we were there when SM opened haha Radisson is a place to be, i swear it has a really nice ambiance and its different from the other hotels ive been, so we  have been planning to experience their services, the buffet and the rooms also.

Moving on i also had a meet up for my MTO distressed and studded and dyed shorts from My fashion craze, the one on my previous post :) and here it is

Time for a quick post! A stress breaker! As of the moment I am re doing my Powerpoint Presentation for my oral defense. Re oral defense to be exact. Wore this outfit TODAY, and unlucky me. Haha But anyway, fashion keeps me going to school you know. And im just soo excited because summer classes are about to end. So tomorrow for my re oral defense im keeping my fingers crossed, im gonna nail this! I hope :(

But hey lets be positive.

Please let me end this summer class with at least a passing  grade! haha

Anyhoo, im gonna go back with my presentation! Wish me luck! XD
