Beige

Dont you love the color Beige? Or nude? I mean technically they are under the same color scheme. The color looks very neutral but it can look elegant. It looks simple but it can look professional. Its a color you should be stocking up on your closet.

Lately, Ive been drawn to the color beige or the beige - or better yet, beige with a hint of pastel pink. Im not sure if there's a name for that already? Like beink? Harhar Kidding aside, this is me, clad in a beige color scheme and in an all Forever 21 outfit. Yes, after all these years Forever21 still gets me. Even with H&M, Pull & Bear, Zara, Bershka ( I do love Bershka, they're like second to Forever21 on my go to shops), Cotton On, Mango, Topshop and so much more shops that opened here in Cebu, Nothing beats a Forever21 SALE! Right? Right!

I got all of these items that I am wearing for 1599 Philippine Peso only plus a red blazer! It was one of those BOGO SALE's that they were having. Score right? Four items for 1599? Hands down to Forever21!!

Wore this outfit to our event for work. We had a launching of all our 8th floor units. (Filling in the gaps: I work at Mandani Bay under the Management of HT Land Inc (HongKong Land and Taft Properties Partnership) and I am in Sales. I sell Condos. )So to dress up for the occasion, I picked this ensemble because it's so versatile. I can practically wear it from day til night. I just popped on the blazer for work and took them off for a night of shopping at the Pop District Bazaar!! More on that soon! 

Also changed my heels into flats cos lets be practical.

November Acquisitions

Just a few stuffs i got from the month of November which includes a skater skirt in black btw, its not in the photo because it was in my laundry haha but anyway, on to my acquisitions. I know theyre so few and i have never been so proud of myself! I have learned to kick my shopping habits goodbye! (NOT!) Im just kidding, im never giving up this therapy, just learning to control and make it healthy. Yes?

Since the holidays are fast approaching, malls are having their super sales as well, and Forever21 is no exception. Last time of this year, Forever21 has this 50 and 50 percent additional sale. More like 75% off. And around that time, i scoured a LOT of items, but this year, they still have the same percentage off, only they had it in Buy one Take one. Pay the higher price. Surprisingly, i only got TWO items, the black sleeveless top and the mint top! Ive been shopping a lot of TOPS lately, mainly because theyre the least i have in my closet and given my current situation right now, with the internship and all, i need more tops than ever. I also got myself a lace clutch bag for my night outs, my friend finds me annoying because i always bring big bags around haha Its on sale @ SM, super steal!

And lastly, the purple top from WAGW, also from their year end sale.

September Acquisitions

 squeezing is some time to update this love of mine! I have been pretty busy with school lately! :( i had lots of things to compile, make and pass. 4th year has took its toll! but i know it will be worth the wait! but anyway, i also squeezed in some little dibs on the month of september. Just little stuffs to help me go on the month!

 First acquisition is a Leopard Bag, since the old one i had died already! haha

 Next is this SM GTW peplum from Soiree! I love the gold details! Its perfect for the coming Christmas Season, red and gold are such festive combinations. And to prepare me for my Internship with Cathay Pacific. :)

April Acquisitions

 As i have mentioned on my previous post i have been so busy, too busy actually. Even shopping was sacrificed! haha So these are the only stuffs i got for the month of april, short but sweet little things! Of course half of them i got on sale!

 ANd the ever famous corset style swimwear from Shopeteer! ONe of my favorite online shops, she's very accommodating and friendly.

ANd this bow bikini top which i would choose not to mention where i got it from because i have been experiencing really bad services from the online shop lately. Twice actually. Though this would be my last purchase from the shop i swear!!

Anyway, at least this post is not as late as my last acquisitions were!

February Acquisitions

It's the time the month again where i round up all my acquisitions! And this time, i think i hoarded a lot in comparison to my January Acquisitions with only 5 clothings. As they say diamonds are a girl's bestfriend. But for me and maybe for most of you guys, Clothes and Shoes are a girl's bestfriend. 

So here's what i got for love month. Its just a sneek peek though, like the cloth and etc.

 Heart Tights from F21, i seriously did not know why i got these, maybe its because its on sale for 32.50 Pesos. Yes thats right. 32.50 :) Crazy sale with a capital K. KRAZYYYYYYYYYY!

 This is another midi skirt! :) With leather inset on the sides. Its actually a zip-up. :) also from f21

 This is a glitter pencil skirt. :)

 Another leather and this time its a fringed skirt. I was having confusions with this skirt but then luckily my bestfriend reminded me that this would make a "STATEMENT" and i thought to myself "yeah she's right! why havent i thought of that?"

January Acquisitions

Before i break down with my acquisitions for this month, let me tell you something first. This month, i shop less! hahaha yes, so there's only 5 items for this month. Can you believe that? I can! haha

Just the other day, i challenged myself to do something. I went through all my clothes, and well, half of them are unworn! hahah So, i placed it in a box, one box, full of clothes unworn. And i challenged myself never to open my cabinet unless i have worn all my clothes in the box. Its full of tops, bottoms, dresses and outerwear. Its also a challenge for me to mix and match! So wish me luck! And i will be labeling those outfits as Challenge Number One: ______ .

So here goes!

  

For my first acquisition of the month, i went thrift shopping! Because i miss it, and it doesnt hurt the pocket much! :) Here's a beaded and printed top. Perfect for school and for casuals! :)

And lastly, a silk cover up in cheetah print? Or leopard? which my Carlo paid for the half of it, so its like a semi gift! Hahah well he had a certificate and i just have to add. :)

December AcquisitionsPart Two

Most probably everyone has a lot of acquisitions last month, and since this is my part two, its not very lengthy, i stayed away from malls after i shopped like crazy on December 1. See here.

But the first batch im gonna show you is not really NEW acquisitions, its more like a piece of trash before and i recycled. Haha while looking at a big box inside our room, i noticed that the box holds ALL of the clothes i had thrown away, gave away since i was 17, and now im 22 already, i cant figure out why the box is still there up until now. The box was supposed to be donated for typhoon/flood victims, my sister and i were bored so we sort out all the clothes inside and BOOM! we found ourselves waaayyy stupid for throwing out clothes we thought we didnt need! Its like finding out treasures of our own. The feeling was priceless! hahah

 A paisley top in its brightest lavender. What in the world was i thinking?

 TWEED JACKET! BEST FINDS OF ALL! I got this tweed jacket for the love of Gossip Girl, and figured i wont get the chance to use this, thank god its still in that box! (because tweed is making a comeback)

 A cute maxi dress! So summery with two slits on both sides! Im such a kid way back yes?

So much for that, next batch is the new acquisitions. Please note that i did not put the gifts i received this christmas to avoid a lengthy post! hehe

 The giraffe pants from SM GTW, in its last size for me, and the last stock, plus a slash of 50% off! Though they also have the last size for Medium which my sister got! haha funny how we got identical stuffs but different colors and design for our presents this christmas, so we took the inspiration and we both got a super identical pants for us! Twins ang peg, kaso she's 14 and im 22. Haha but we are the best of friends! <3

 Next is, a fedora hat! In emerald green! Also 50% off! One of our wishlist for christmas is to get a matching fedora (not my sister but me and the boyfriend) he's been very supportive of my fashion choices, style and he always have the best compliments(biased eh), he always have a say on the things i buy, that sometimes i find it hard to shop alone! hahaha And whenever i get to the hat section he always tries on some fedora and amuse me into thinking he looks like Jason Mraz, seriously?? haha but , my boyfriend is the laid back type of person but since i told him he looks good in a fedora which he does, but not like Jason Mraz(haha), so we agreed! Finally, a one big check for this! :)

 A bodycon sparkly knit sweater dres, this dress was like an answer to a prayer, because while looking at the racks of F21, clothes after clothes, i was yapping about how i am not getting more stuffs THAT DAY and that im just gonna look and window shop, and i said the BUT word, like BUT if there's anything i'd really3 like maybe im getting it, and i was holding this piece and it was love at first sight! And when i went to the fitting room! It was true love hahah and my sister was right hahah

 And because sister is addicted to sweaters, i got myself one! hahahah which led me asking myself why i bought it days after i bought it haha

I also got these low heeled pointees. I love them since i can remember, i think pointed shoes were my first love, i remember having them in my highschool days, 3 pairs i think and then fell inlove with peeptoe and the list goes on.

And for some last minute shopping, since we OPENED December with F21 purchases, my sister and i CAPPED off December with F21 purchases. haha i wish they'd have more sales like that. We got this on NYE, like the malls were closed na and we were the last person in the fitting room and the lights were closed na and we were at the cashier and the gates were only half open! ahaha
