Steam Punk

 I did not know if i mentioned this some post ago, but recently, just last tuesday, i participated another fashion show, for CAFA week, with the same student designer of course. And this years theme is STEAMPUNK. I was really overwhelmed in a good way, when i saw the design, or the clothes that i was gonna wear, because i have never gone dark on fashion shows, or walk like someone else. Because this is sooo not me. though it reminded me or Cosplaying or Suckerpunch perhaps?

Identity

It is that time of that year again. October. Calls for final examinations, final requirements and the likes. But in this case, finals has already wrapped up for a week now. And this time of the year, holds the annual CAFA (College of Fine Arts and Architecture) I hope im right hahah

As a final requirement of the Fashion Design students, they have to come up with two designs and will held the annual CAFA Fashion Show, every October. I am not sure if i have posted my first CAFA Fashion Show, but this year, i participated again! Thanks to my old designer who recommended me :)

It is always an honor to help one of my fellow Carolinians for their final requirement:)

My Closet Collection X Orotime Fashion Show (BTS)

As ive said on my previous post about some rehearsal thingy i was doing last weekend, I am now showing you some BTS ( Behind the Scenes) of the said event. I havent really took much pictures because one my camera is like crap, i seriously dont know what went wrong with its setting. :( Two, its on its way to dead batt, unlike Allen Soco our MUA who was alive the whole night and full charged. Haha. And 3rd we were so busy catching up with the girls, specially talking about common friends and the likes. But anyway here goes:

This is my old friend Kai, we use to model together wayyy back 2008 :) And we dont really hang out or talk to each other that much, but when we see each other our friendship stays the same :)

 

 So thats US, waiting..... unfortunately the show was a little delayed because of technical problems. Girl on the left-est, is Miss Mandaue 2012 Nicole Tuazon, it was a pleasure meeting her, because she's very humble, and friendly, considering of the things that she has achieved, I've read about her before i met her, that she graduated Cum Laude in ECE @ USC, from where I am currently studying. And now, she's an up and coming beauty queen and a model.

 This is Mariecar Angelique, an upcoming freshmen student @ USC also! 

 Girl on my left is  Carmela, my schoolmate, and is now a Certified Public Accountant. makes me shrink, cause these girls are my batchmates, yet im still studying. And Kai also graduated @ USC too, in Nursing. So, most of us really are from the same school, just different campuses.

So, if you have noticed leopard print has been a trend, sometimes it gets overrated, but it all depends somehow, as for me, i followed the bandwagon of this trend, obviously. For today, i was really having a hard time picking up something to wear from my closet, so I opted to wear the basic top+shorts combo.

I dont wanna look feminine today because ive been looking all girly lately. And i also wanna take this shorts for a spin. I personally made them. I dont know but the top just went with the shorts pretty well, and ive been enjoying the comfort of these loafers lately, and this bag just happen to fit my shoes "heels" for the rehearsal. I guess thats what you call animal instinct. Even in clothes hahaha

 Thats my sister, my bestfriend, and my current partner, it really pays to have a sister, she's lovely i know. Haha My photographer also as of the moment.

June has begun and some classes have started, i just wanna show how cutely ready I am for classes. When I was a freshie, I really opted for a binder cause its something new, but then ive grown tired of it, and opted for envelopes and binder refills with cute covers, and well ive grown tired of it again, so i chose notebooks, divided personally :)
