Virgin Island

Welcome to Virgin Island! Where only virgins can enter! HAHAHA Kidding aside. Its actually my first time to visit this wonderful island. It can be reached via pumpboat from Bantayan Island. Its a must side trip when you are in Bantayan Island. If you liked Bantayan Island you'll love Virgin Island. Reminds me so much of Daku Island in Siargao.

The island is adorned with pearls. It is very well maintained and you really get your money's worth. Entrance fee can be quite expensive if you travel by two. We travelled in group so the payment was divided into 10 which didnt hurt our wallets that much. It was so worth it.

a For this destination I saved the best one piece that I have that I havent worn yet! I got this  green one piece bathing suit from Zaful and its only under 20$. Its really affordable. The fit is true to size, Im a size medium so I give this an A. The Quality feels quite sturdy but I cant give my final verdict on that yet. For its price I think its really worth it. It also looks the same as the photo on their site. YOU really have to check them out. Like, seriously!

All in all, it was a vacay well spent! <3

Home

Ahhh, Bantayan Island! It has been my 4th visit and the 3rd consecutive year that ive been coming here. Its still the same. It still has its charm. Surprisingly I felt at home when I got there. This place just holds a special spot in my heart!

I made sure to wear breezy outfits and the pants fit perfectly well. It has slits on both sides and its very light and airy. I can also imagine wearing this pants with a bikini top and a white cover up. You can wear them at the beach, running errands, or to a day and night look. I got these from Zaful. They have a TON of stylish clothes that wont hurt your budget! Not to mention they offer free shipping for 30$. My experience with them is hassle free! Be sure to check them out!

Farewell

Before we bid adieu to my Bantayan post. Let me share with you my outfit going back to the city.

Since going back means traveling. I made sure im wearing something comfy. And ive said this a thousand times that there's nothing more comfortable in wearing  pajama pants. Right?

Paired by a breezy top with a sexy lace inset. Because its summer. Duh? Haha

Would you ever want to leave this place?
Thats me, actually standing on a wide sandbar. Seriously cant get enough!

Powder Sands

Ahh the cool breeze, the literally powder sand, the clear waters. Bantayan Island is such a piece of heaven. On our second day at the Island i really didnt bother if i go dark. The water was just glorious.

If id rate all the beaches ive been too. Bantayan really tops the list.

So on our second day at the beach i finally got to use my sailor swimmies from Shopeteer. Its highwaist so it hides all the bulges i pigged out from yesterday. Plus the color scheme of my swimsuit really matches the whole setting. Die Hard Summer Girl here! So happy with this nautical number!

Im not really the type of girl who can walk around in bikini's alone. So i always make it to a point to bring a cover up or a skirt. And for this trip, i packed my SM GTW wrap skirt. Its so perfect because i havent tried bringing a maxi to the beach.  And it worked. So for all girls out there who are conservative. Dont pack light!

Coconut

In the Philippines summer has officially ended while in some parts of the world summer has just begun. Id like to say that this is my summer ender getaway but then id be lying. Because im still itching to soak myself into the waters. And while all my summer escapades involves escaping town (duhhh?? hahah) i have decided to stay in the city. Because i have discovered new places to chill. Like a piece of paradise in the city. So i hope you'll stay tuned for that. Now that i am in my senior year i am more inclined and very inspired to write all my travel post and share them with you. Of course i travel chic. Teehee.

So for my not summer ender getaway, my boyfriend and i went to Bantayan Island. Im pretty sure that some of you are familiar with the place already. Its loated at the northern part of cebu which can be traveled by bus for four hours at a rate of 150 per ride going to Hagnaya. And a 170 pesos ferry/barge trip going to the island.

There are a lot of resorts to choose from there. Some have room for rent only. Some have great facilities. On our journey though we chose to rent a room called Bahay Kubo. For 500 pesos a night. The thing is, its located at the beach front and a walking distance to and fro from the market. Which was very convenient for us because I love to grill. Though the walking part was replaced by bicycle rides which was for rent at a rate of 120/day or 20/hour.

Grab a drink. Or grab a bite if youre not the cooking type. Along the way to the market there are great places to chill and stay.

As ive said i travel chic, when we arrived i immediately changed into my bikini's and my highwaist ombre shorts and completed my look with a denim vest. And yes i wore this around town, biking, getting stuffs and grilling of course.
