Hair it is

Okay. So i cut my hair. No big deal. It was foreseen actually! But wait, its actually a big deal! Huhu because the length of my hair is only nice for straight hairs. But my natural locks are big and wavy and i have a really thick hair. Ugh. But moving on, im glad i got rid of my ombre. It was nice for a while. But now i want to tone down my look.

And due to this event of my life. I have come to realize that, i can NEVER ever picture myself having a permanent straight hair anymore. Which is what i was accustomed to growing up.

I will always miss my big waves. And the fact how those waves are so effortless. I dont even brush my hair. And the thing with straight hair is they look so prim and proper. I like my curls very well. They look fun! So with that said, once my hair would grow back in its usual bra length, im off to the salon again for what seems like an annual digital perm.

Im such a bun kinda girl. So perm works for me. As of this writing i also realized a lot of things, like the fact that i am knowing myself more. Okay now that sounds deep. Familiar view right?
Well for those who know me will know where i am. And yes i paid a visit to my dear alma mater. Which i miss so much already. Ohh the days of financially dependent is long gone. Actually i just went there to check on my TOR and Diploma which is alas, unavailabe for me just yet. And went off to Jonas Borces for my hair! Of course i think you know which is the post and pre haircut photos.

Do tell which one you think suits me?
Id love to know! xo

Parisian Life

Welcome to La Vie Parisienne! If youre from Cebu you'll definitely know this place. And it is not flocked by Cebuanos nowadays but also with tourists! La Vie Parisienne is a winery and deli at the same time. They sell french goodies like bread and wine. Imported from France. As for the breads, only the ingredients are French. Anyway, La Vie Parisienne has become so popular for Cebuanos because of its scenic and very picturesque place. Which you will see in the next following photos since i am lost for words on how to describe the place.

One of the best croissants in town. Of course since its really legit. HAHA

The famous swing.

Caught Instagramming. HAHA

This is how it looks like when the sun starts to set and the artificial lights come alive.
Truth be told, this place is quite mainstream here in Cebu, this place gets crowded at night, so if you wanna go there and take pictures, be sure to arrive early, like 3 in the afternoon to avoid lots of people.

Sweater Leather

Who knew sweater and pencil skirts would look good together. Not to mention with a touch of leather. I have always wanted to wear a sweater+pencil skirt combo.

I only see them in the movies as the "simple girl" outfit. Or the loser profile outfit. Of course mine is sans the socks. I paired it with mid heels instead to make it more me. And of course since grey could get boring at times. I added a beaded purple necklace just to brighten the ensemble a bit. Grey and black is such an off color.

I wore this outfit to church. Let me tell you a secret. I go to church near my place. And most Sundays i wear "experiments". Experiments are outfit that i want to try but afraid of doing so. So i i experiment my clothes to church. So that if and ever id have a fashion faux pas. Its not too far to go home. Just in case the outfit doesnt work. Sometimes too i wear my new stuffs to church. Recent acquisitions. Its sort of a christening for new clothes. Haha me and my weirdness.

Jeans + Leggings

Add caption
I have always wanted to buy a "Jeggings" but i kind of had a hard time looking for one. Because everything i fit would show camel-toes! Hahaha

Jeans+Leggings are a very comfortable alternative for denim jeans. So it is essential to have one in your closet.
Picking one is very tricky. But thankfully and surprisingly, this pastel pants (jeggings) from Lets Stylize fits perfectly. No camel toes.
See for yourself!

Wore this outfit to meet up with my siblings and went to confession. The three of us. Family is definitely one of the best company.

Mullet over Mullet

Have you ever tried the same style over the same style? Didnt know it could work though. Here's my take. Mullet over Mullet. I scored this mullet top sometime last year,, oh yeah a 12-12-12 buy along with my bestfriend, and havent really gotten the chance to wear them since it was more like an impulse buy. But anyway, this sheer mullet skirt also has been lying for too long in my closet and i decided to pull the two, pile them on and cinched my waist. Off i go.

I never thought it could work!, but here it is and it looks like a dress but not really, the skirt flatters well with the top, since both are asymmetrical. I was thinking of doing the Ruffles over Ruffles next. Haha yes?

Since summer is just around the corner, the more ive been drawn to wearing flats. Though i must admit that wearing heels has now been difficult for me, I now tire easily and cant stand longer periods of time in heels. So id like to practice myself again, which is very impossible this summer, as usual the heat is insane!

Since both are sheer, ive used my midrib bustier for a sexy feel! haha
