Slip On

In my line of work, I am expected to wear heels when I meet with clients. Okay maybe that's not always the case, but that's just my mindset. You got to be super presentable when you're selling millions so why not look like millions?

I wore this ensemble when I thought I had a possible client meeting. And yes I was wearing slip-ons and thought that my outfit really went well with the slip ons. Never thought I could combine such ensemble. Haha! And no, I didn't wore this flats to the meeting.

 The blazer that I'm wearing is actually one of the things I got at Pop Distict Bazaar last September. I love it!

Do I look like millions regardless if I'm wearing the slip ons? No? Maybe just 999,000? Harhar

 Today's post (ootd color combo) reflects so much about my recent state right now. There are times in life that test your faith and disposition. When my Lola died, I lost all my faith in God and I turn to negativity when things wont go my way. I was un-accepting. I looked for things that I didnt have instead of appreciating the things I do have I became so self centered that when uncertainty hit me, I panicked. 

 Fortunately, life has blessed me with people who lift up my spirit and keep me grounded. Always there to make me realize the things I tend to forget. Recently my bestfriend reminded me to appreciate the things I have. A good friend of mine told me "God will provide"

Whatever crisis you are going through right now, always remember that there is a God up there and he is always with you.

Tonight I can sleep soundly. Tomorrow, things will be better.

Midrib meets Midi

Here's my second take on wearing a midi skirt. And this time, a more provocative top. Which is the midrib corset. It was a little risky on my part though! Hope you'll like it!

 Yes, finally. I am wearing my first midi skirt. I had this just earlier this year, one of my fashion resolutions is to be open for more styles. I was never a fan of midi skirts, but seeing the outcome of this makes me love it. Its so sleek, sexy yet formal.  The reason why im also starting to collect them is because i am close for my On the Job Training! :)

 So for my first midi skirt look, i wore it to church, which was very proper. I thought that the key to midi's is you pair them with something sexy for the top part, but no, the key to pulling off a midi skirt is to wear heels, low or high. Pumps does the trick ;) Surprisingly, this old polo i have which i tied to knots to emphasize the high waist of the skirt, works!
